DMH is home to the Central Illinois Orthopaedic Center (CIOC). Our facility provides the latest medical and surgical treatments for bones and joints. Our expert team includes eight board-certified orthopaedic surgeons with whom DMH has partnered, surgical specialists, specially trained orthopaedic nurses and rehabilitation team. The Central Illinois Orthopaedic Center at DMH is equipped with advanced diagnostics, including the latest minimally invasive surgical treatment options, and patient communication software.

Fractures & Trauma

The inpatient Orthopaedic unit is located on the third floor and is a 22 bed unit made up of all private rooms. The satellite rehabilitation unit is located on the Orthopaedic unit for the patient’s convenience.
DMH has partnered with eight board certified Orthopaedic Surgeons specializing in the care of your orthopaedic needs ranging from total joint replacements (shoulder, knee, hip), total joint revisions, fracture care, carpal tunnel repair, ACL repair and other sports injuries.
