Pink Link Breast Cancer Support Group
Pink Link is a breast cancer support group that meets at 6 pm on the second Thursday of each month. Sessions are facilitated by a registered nurse and a social worker.
Each session includes:
- Time to express your emotions and to share personal experiences
- An opportunity to meet others who have experienced breast cancer
- A facilitated discussion topic
Light refreshments are served. We hope to see you there!
HER – How to reach one on one support
Your call will be returned by a local breast cancer survivor willing to assist you with your questions and concerns.
Facing Cancer Together

Look Good…Feel Better
A free program that offers beauty techniques to help women cope with side effects associated with cancer treatment. The group meets at 6pm every other month. For more information, call 217-876-6600.
Strength For The Journey
A six week informational series for cancer patients and caregivers. The program is designed to provide education, information, and support to cancer patients and their family members to empower them through their journey. For more information, call 217-876-4735.

Bereavement Support Groups
DMH Cancer Care Institute offers free bereavement support groups for family members who have lost a loved one. Groups are open to anyone in the community. Registration is preferred. For more information, call 217-876-4735.
Growing Through Grief, a five-week series for adults; meets February/March, June/July, October/November. Please call 217-876-4735 for more information. Class discussion includes:
- Learning about grief
- Taking care of yourself
- Looking to your faith for comfort
