Taking athletes to the next level

The Decatur Memorial Hospital Sports Enhancement Center Program helps provide young athletes with the level of fitness they need to compete and win, while providing advanced athletes with the tools they need to reach improving speed and agility, and is customizable to all ages and ability levels. Most athletes see an average increase of 1 to 2 inches on their vertical leap, 1-2 tenths off their 40 yard dash, as well as improved foot speed, balance, and stamina.

No matter what game you play, powerful speed and agility will give you the winning edge.

DMH Health and Wellness, using the Athletic Republic, will help you improve speed and power. The program is customized for each athlete’s sport, position and individual strengths and weaknesses. In the six- to eight-week program, athletes will strengthen specific muscles that deliver quick forward, lateral and backward motion. Whether you are just beginning to learn a new sport, a professional or recreational athlete, the Athletic Republic sports training programs can help you achieve your athletic performance goals.

Completing your running/jumping program on the Super Treadmill can help you achieve increased maximum sprinting speed, anaerobic endurance, improved sprinting biomechanics and enhanced self-esteem. The Super Treadmill has a top speed of 28 mph and an incline of 40 degrees.
