Suite Room

One room for the entire process:

Decatur Memorial Hospital is proud to offer LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) suites. LDRP suites are birthing rooms in which the mother remains for all four steps of the birthing process, eliminating the disruption of shifting rooms and of separating mom from baby.

The goal is to provide the best possible experience for mother and family by creating a spacious, welcoming, home away from home – birth environment for everyone to enjoy the new addition to the family, all while our nurses & partnering physicians provide care. Additional amenities include:

  • Private Mother-Baby LDRP Suite
  • En-suite Private Showers
  • Complimentary In Room Wifi
  • Room Service
  • DVD Player
  • Complimentary celebration dinner for two by Café DMH
  • Fold out bed for your support person to stay overnight
  • Complimentary consultation with a dietitian
  • Special lighting so your baby can stay with you at all times and be examined by a pediatrician in your room
