September 22, 2016…
Officials at Decatur Memorial Hospital and Springfield Clinic announced a collaboration that will expand patient access to primary care and specialty services on the DMH campus.
The newly-renovated medical office building Springfield Clinic will occupy is located at 250 West Kenwood Avenue and includes approximately 14,000 square feet of medical office space. Springfield Clinic will also offer laboratory services in the new facility along with X-ray services provided by DMH.
Springfield Clinic Decatur’s family medicine team includes: John DiMondo, MD; Dennis Heim, MD; Cynthia Marschner, DO; Dennis Rademacher, MD; Tammie Buzan, APN, FNP-BC; Mercedes Kent, LCSW; Nicole Mason, PA-C; Jennifer Norton, APN, FNP-BC; and Sara O’Brien, APN, NP-C.
Also providing care at the new Springfield Clinic facility will be Springfield Clinic specialists practicing in the following medical subspecialties: adult and pediatric endocrinology, neurology, rheumatology, and adult and pediatric dermatology. The Kenwood location also offers room for future expansion of Springfield Clinic’s specialty services.
“Decatur Memorial Hospital is proud to expand family medicine and specialty services on the Decatur Memorial Hospital campus through this collaboration with Springfield Clinic,” said Timothy D. Stone Jr., President & CEO, Decatur Memorial Hospital. “We welcome Springfield Clinic to the DMH campus to increase access in our community for patients needing family medicine and specialty medical services negating the need to travel out of town.”
“The Decatur move is part of a comprehensive facility plan which Springfield Clinic began implementing nearly a decade ago,” said Jay York, Springfield Clinic’s Chief Operating Officer. “This is an opportunity to bring our current primary care and specialty teams together under one roof, as well as accommodate future growth. We know from experience in other communities that our patients appreciate having all their Springfield Clinic providers and services in one, convenient location.”
