DMH announces groundbreaking technology to detect early signs of prostate cancer

Decatur Memorial Hospital has announced new technology that will put them at the forefront of prostate cancer. After two years of clinical trials DMH will now be able to utilize and offer a groundbreaking imaging technology that can detect prostate cancer in its early stages. The C-11 Choline PET CT and MRI can now be offered to patients who have biochemical relapse of prostate cancer. Director of Radiology at DMH, Mark Muscato, says through the new technology they’ve learned more about the disease.
