DMH Thrift Shop To Host Grand Re-Opening
Feb. 28, 2018…Decatur, Ill… After closing up shop for a week to completely restock the shelves and update merchandise for the new season, the Decatur Memorial Hospital Auxiliary invites you to the Grand Re-Opening of its DMH Thrift Shop on Saturday, March 3 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
DMH Thrift Shop is a great stop for bargain shoppers. To support the hospital’s mission to improve health of all people in Central Illinois, dollars spent at the DMH Thrift Shop circle back to the hospital. About thirty volunteers are the heart of the DMH Thrift Shop, devoting hours to unloading and sorting donations, arranging merchandise, and pricing.
“We are so excited to have our ‘Grand Re-Opening’ of the DMH Thrift Shop,” says Rita Boyd, store manager. “After being closed for the past week to spruce up the store with spring and summer merchandise, I’m sure the people in our community will be happy to start shopping again!”
The shop is located at 553 West Wood Street, and is open Mondays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donations of gently used items are gladly accepted during store hours. For more information about the DMH Thrift Shop, please call (217) 428-8512.
